1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Wild Muse Media ("Wild Muse", "we", "us", "our") - ABN 37 689 609 756, based in Perth, Western Australia - collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information.

By using our website (wildmusemedia.com.au), enquiring, or engaging our services, you consent to this Policy.

2. Information we collect

• Contact & enquiry details: name, email, phone number, Instagram/social handles, business name.
• Project details: shoot dates, locations, brand information, preferences, and anything you share in our forms.
• Payment information: processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
• Content: photos and video footage we capture for you as part of our services.
• Website & usage data: analytics such as pages visited and device information, collected via cookies and analytics tools.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, plan and deliver our services
• To communicate with you (SMS, Instagram, email, phone) about your booking and project
• We may send you SMS messages about your booking, and marketing SMS where you have consented. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP, or by emailing us.
• To process payments and issue invoices
• To improve our services and website
• To send you marketing, offers and updates, but only where you have ticked the consent box on one of our forms or otherwise opted in. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, by replying STOP to an SMS, or by emailing us.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations

4. Who we share it with

We only share information with trusted providers who help us run our business, including:

• Stripe - payment processing
• Xero - accounting and bookkeeping
• Google (Workspace, Drive, Analytics) - email, file delivery/storage, website analytics
• Zoom - video calls
• Meta / Instagram - messaging and marketing
• Mailgun - email delivery
• Supabase - website data services (no personal information is stored here)

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Content, footage & marketing use

As set out in our Terms & Conditions, Wild Muse may use content we create for you (edited work, not raw footage) in our own portfolio, website and social media, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Storage, security & retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Delivered footage is stored via Google Drive and archived after 30 days - please download and back up your files within that time. We retain personal and financial records for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations.

7. Your rights

You may request to access, correct or delete your personal information, or opt out of marketing, at any time by emailing hello@wildmusemedia.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

8. Cookies & analytics

Our website uses cookies and analytics to understand how visitors use the site and to improve your experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Overseas disclosure

Some of our providers may store data on servers outside Australia. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with Australian privacy standards.
